Version history
What changed in each release, newest first. The app updates itself, so there is nothing to install. To see which version your phone has, open More and look at the bottom: the code after "Version" matches one of the build codes below. If your code is not listed, you have the newest release.
Version 1.16: Your own order on More
Wed, Oct 28- Put the items on the More tab in the order you want: tap Change order under the list, drag by the grip or use the arrows, then Save. Each person has their own order, and Reset to default order puts it back.
- Your own profile on the Roster now has an Edit my profile button at the top.
- Cancelling a canoe reservation now sends the paddler and partner an email, with a calendar file that marks it cancelled.
- Admins: the Boats tab is now OC6s, and Canoes is now OC1/OC2 (where the OC1 and OC2 are also renamed, retired, or added).
- The canoe calendar on the club website opens the team app in a new tab.
- User guide: a Return to top button floats near the bottom of the screen as you scroll.
- Admins: the roster download now has every profile field (tags, paddler role, seat preferences, medical notes, alerts, and email settings), and uploading it again restores them. People are matched by email, so no one is added twice; birthdays, emergency contacts, and medical notes only fill in what's blank.
Version 1.15: Canoe checkout is built in
Wed, Oct 28- Borrow the club OC1 or OC2 right in the app: More > Canoe checkout. Paddlers marked OC1/2 Cleared take one now or reserve up to 2 weeks ahead, with an OC2 partner if they like.
- Checking out shows the lake conditions and a safety checklist, and asks for your emergency contact. Pick-up is at your start time; reservations not picked up within 30 minutes are released.
- While out, tap I'm running late to add time. If a canoe isn't checked in after its return time, the paddler gets a reminder, then their emergency contact and the club's alert people are emailed.
- Check in with a note and photos; Something needs a repair also sends a repair report. Tap Tell me if it frees up on someone else's reservation.
- Bookings stay within the Aquatic Center's hours, which the app now reads from the center's website along with the closed days.
- Coaches and admins: book for any cleared paddler, block canoes for club use (weekly if needed), and see who is out or overdue with their emergency contact. Ticking OC1/2 Cleared now records the date and the coach.
- Admins: Admin > Canoes has the rules and checklist, out of service, who gets alerts, a usage report, a history download, and a public availability calendar for the club website.
- My profile: your emergency contact can now include an email.
- You get an email copy when you reserve a canoe (with a calendar file; reservations also have Add to calendar), when you check it out (with your due-back time), and when you check it in. Canoes go out only while the Aquatic Center is open.
- People on repair alerts (Admin > Canoes) now get each repair report by email as well as on their phone.
Version 1.14: Coaches can send invites
Wed, Oct 28- Coaches can now send the 1-tap invite too: on the roster profile of someone who hasn't signed in yet, tap Invite to the app.
- User guide: adding the app to your home screen on iPhone works from any browser, not just Safari.
Version 1.13: Board tags, who reacted, and spreadsheet uploads
Wed, Oct 28- Board members have a green tag on the roster and their profile (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Race Rep, AM Rep, PM Rep). Admins set it on the member's page.
- Press and hold a reaction in a chat to see who left it (or tap ☺+, then Who reacted).
- Swipe a chat left on the Messages list to archive it.
- Swipe the month calendar left or right to change months.
- Month view: days the Aquatic Center is closed are gray with the date in red, instead of a big red X.
- Coaches and admins can add many events at once from a spreadsheet, with a preview first. Aquatic Center closed days are flagged.
- Admins: download the roster as a spreadsheet, or upload one to add and update members. New people are invited right away.
- Admins: see who hasn't signed in yet, and invite them with one tap from their profile.
- Access levels are now Member, Coach, and Admin (Steersperson is gone; the Steers tag still shows who steers).
Version 1.12: Smoother sign-in
Tue, Oct 27- Leave the app to check your email for the sign-in code: when you come back, it's still waiting for the code instead of asking for your email again.
- "I already have a code" on the sign-in screen.
- Asking for a code twice in a row takes you to the code box instead of an error.
- Invite emails no longer have a button that expires. They explain how to sign in with a code, any time.
- Members who were invited but never signed in can always get a code, even before their dues are marked paid.
- Admins choose Member, Coach, or Admin when inviting someone.

Version 1.11: Fewer emails, more emoji, and a user guide
Mon, Oct 26- Email summaries: on My profile, choose to get new events and volunteer calls by email as they happen, in one summary each morning, or in one summary each Sunday evening. Cancellations still come right away.
- React to a chat message with any emoji: tap ☺+, then + for your phone's emoji keyboard.
- Team Chat stays at the top of Messages, in bold, with the club seal.
- Chats open at the newest message and stay there while photos load.
- The More page shows who built the app, next to the version.
- Fixed: on Messages, the More tab no longer lights up too.
- This user guide and version history, linked from More > User guide.

Version 1.10: Time trials, event history, and Notices
Mon, Oct 26- Time trials: record your timed pieces on My profile to track progress. Only you and coaches see them.
- Event history: coaches and admins see who added, edited, cancelled, or deleted each event.
- More > Notices lists everything the app sent you, in case you missed a notification.
- On phones, the tab bar hides while you type, and one tap on Send sends.
- Members who were invited but never used their invite link can now sign in with a code.
- Big notices go out only as one club email, which keeps room for sign-in codes.
- Date fields fit their column on iPhone.
Builds: c5f2659, a24b8f7, 83b2bb8, 91449dc
Version 1.9: Profile and chat fixes
Mon, Oct 26- OC1/2 Cleared: coaches and admins tick it on a profile; everyone sees it, so you can find an OC2 partner.
- Month view fills each paddling day with your answer: green ✓ Going, yellow ? Maybe, red ✕ No.
- Messages you send always show, even if your phone paused the app while you picked a photo.
- Team Chat can't be archived.
- My profile: Race card and OC1/2 Cleared sit under Paddling; CPR is below seat preferences.
Builds: dc360b9, 768cfb2, b77049f, 365eb82
Version 1.8: Aquatic Center and race cards

- Learn to Paddle classes can be imported from the Aquatic Center's class page, with a Help teach job.
